It is with regret that, due to the developing situation with COVID-19 and following government advice, we will no longer be holding Cliff Festival 2020. This will be the first time since World War II that Festival has not taken place, and we know this will be disappointing for many of you who were planning to join us for Festival. This has been a difficult decision for the Festival Committee to make.
Over Festival weekend, we will instead be hosting a free-to-access ‘Festival at Home’ to make sure that you, your family and your church can still be blessed, challenged and equipped to serve God in His world. Festival at Home will be offering exciting online content and opportunities for conversation and community for all ages, with many of our communicators and artists from across the UK and around the world working with us over the weekend. We hope you will join with us for this time of celebration – you can sign up to get updates about Festival at Home here.
If you have already booked for Cliff Festival 2020, your booking has already been transferred to Cliff Festival 2021 (28th-31st May 2021). You do not need to do anything to secure your tickets or accommodation – this has all been done automatically.
As you may imagine, cancelling Cliff Festival 2020 costs the College a considerable amount of money. Our insurance policies do not cover these extraordinary circumstances. If you would like to donate towards our unexpected cancellation costs, any amount would be gratefully received. You can donate here: https://donate.kindlink.com/Cliff-College/2897
Please be assured of our prayers for you at this uncertain time, and please hold us in your prayers as well. Thank you for your continued support for Cliff College and Cliff Festival. We hope to see you online at the end of May, and in person at Cliff Festival 2021.
Rev Ashley Cooper
